Well?
Are you?
You may be wondering what I mean by that...
Here's what I mean:
Are you keeping your most important goals and outcomes in the forefront of your mind?
Do you realize that your current job/ source of income is not an end in itself, but only a means to an end?
If not, then you may be wasting your time and energy.
I believe that we should get rid of the things that are unnecessary in our lives, because they drain us and put an extra load on us, causing us to use up precious energy that can be better utilized elsewhere... like doing the things that we WANT to do Vs doing the things that we allowed life to choose for us.
If you're not aware of this, then please pay very close attention to words that are coming directly after these:
You can BUILD THE LIFE YOU WANT or...
You can life a life of default.
"Being rich" is a common goal for everyone ( myself included) and too frequently, we lose sight of the PURPOSE of being wealthy and abundant.
The main purpose of having lots of money is to allow us to do all the things that we truly WANT to do.
Like I mentioned before, your career/job is only a means to an end. When something better comes along, then you owe it to yourself, your loved ones, and your DREAMS to go after it...
Now.
This is why it's important to keep your goals and outcomes on the forefront of your mind.
This is why it's important to constantly assess your circumstances and notice how close or how far away your form reaching your goals.
We live in a society where it's all too easy to become distracted by the environment around us.
It's all too easy for a person to let that Beer commercial influence the type of lifestyle that a person "chooses" to live. Except, in a situation like that, you are not truly choosing your own ideal life, now, are you?
The moral of this post is:
Keep your life in the proper perspective. When you're losing your focus, concentrate on and review your desired outcomes. Notice if your desire to achieve and experience those outcomes has changed our not.
And constantly, constantly, constantly ask yourself:
"Is this the life I want?" Is everything the way I want it to be right now?"
id it's not, then get to work and figure out what it is EXACTLY that will satisfy you and fulfill you.
Sincerely
Amir C.
