What can you do when you're bored?

Well, I can think of a few things:

1) Focus on those side projects that have been coming to the surface of your mind and being pushed aside by your daily life

2) Assess your current financial, social, and personal life areas. Are you where you want to be in those areas? If not, do you know where you want to be in those areas? If not, what can you start doing tomorrow to build the kind of life you want in those specific areas?

3) Give thanks for everything you have right now. Thank your heart and lungs for all the things they do for you, like pump blood and transport oxygen to your brain and your other organs.

There's a start for you. Can you expand this list?

""I'm sick and tired of WAITING!!!"

How many times have heard that before?

How many times have you said that yourself?

I know that I say that quite frequently, especially in the past few months.

However, as I was sitting at my desk, thinking about how boring my current circumstances are, something said to me:

" Well stop waiting and do something!!!"

Call it my higher self, my unconscious mind, whatever, but it a ton of sense. Its like someone slapped me in the face and woke me up.

Even though sitting around and waiting may appear to be doing nothing, we are in fact doing something:

We're waiting!!!

We live in a physical universe where everything is subject to change, at every monent. Nothing is static or unmoving. Sure, we can maintain a state for a period of time, but once we stop applying our energy and attention to it, then it starts to wane. It's called " the law of diminishing returns".

If you'll notice the word "waiting", you'll notice that its a verb. Which implies doing, which implies action, which further proves the point that even in so called "doing nothing", we are still doing?

If your confused by the above, then it ok to feel good about being confused. You can feel good about being confused because there's some part of you that fully understands what I'm saying, and the more you go back and read the above statement, the quicker you'll start to realize consciously how much sense this all makes...

Now, one must beg the question:

What are you "sick and tired" of waiting for?

In other words, what is it that you are not doing?

Are you WAITING for someone to give you a better job?

Are you WAITING for your circumstances to change?

I think, By Now, you're starting to see that my point is this:

Stop waiting.

Start doing.

You only have one life. There's only so much a person can do in a day, but...

Do something.

At the end of the day, we are lazy.

It hit me while i was looking for spanish villas to buy.

Now...

The website for this particular place is very well put together. I'm not a design nerd or anything like that, but i can definitely appreciate things that are put together well.

Anyway, what really got me going about this website was the fact that every few seconds the page pulls up a different villa for you to look at. So, instead of going searching for a villa, the page will bring these awesome bills to you, so to speak...

Anyway, you may be wondering to yourself now: what does this have to do with people and getting in shape?

Well, if you, like me, are a Fitness professional, then this is something that you absolutely want to pay attention to.

The easier that you can help a client become more fit in the quickest amount of time, the more they will want to compensate you.

When you really think about it, it makes perfect sense.

We live in a society of instant gratification. We want what we want right NOW.

Which sounds better to you:

" I can help you lose 10 pounds in 4 weeks" or " I can help you lose 10 pounds in 2 months"?

I guess it depends on your own specific deadlines, but for the most part, the first statement sounds better now, doesn't it?

Anyway, keep that in mind when you're working with clients. Even if you're not a fitness professional, you can apply the instant gratification principle to your own business and earn more money.

Find a way to help people achieve their goals quicker than ever before and the world will build a golden stair case leading to your front door.

If you're thinking about the New Year and searching for a safe way to lose that extra weight, then you owe it to yourself to check out my new book:

"Secrets of super fast weight loss!!" IT'S ON SALE RIGHT NOW!!!

Finish this sentence now:

If I don't lose this extra weight this month, I'll...

Just thought that I would get you started. That's how things work in this world: we have to apply force to generate movement. Once we generate movement, the inital force will provide the inertia and momentum necessary to carry things on until that initial force- energy is used up.

If you're the type of person who sits are around waits for good things to fall into your lap, then you have to stop that type of thinking( unless of course you are the type of person that seems to attract good situations, then please ignore this and leave me a note with detailed instructions on how I can make that happen!).

We are human beings with bodies and we have physical bodies for a reason: so we can MAKE our dreams a reality. Notice how I underlined the word "make"? We have the power to create and build the lives that we want. We can shape and mold everything to meet or needs.

The hot chick at your job that you've been dying to talk to isn't gonna come up to and slide her hands gently dow your pants now( don't say you have never imagined that, because 99 percent of all guys alive today have done that. I just visualized five minutes ago...). Before any of that fun stuff can happen, you have to TALK TO HER.

You have to create that oppurtunity. You have to talk to her and get her attention. She has to know that you exist.

Anyway..

Making waves can be used in any context. The world is waiting on you to take it over.

But you have to make the first move.

Amir

It doesnt matter how many times you get it wrong... its the one time you get it right that counts!!!

Case in point:

There is a specifc breathing pattern commonly used by yoga practitioners to provide a natural burst of energy, with the awesome side effect of toning up your abs and strengthening your lungs.

It's called " the breath of fire" and it packs a punch, so much so that many people advise that you don't do it before bedtime, as it may keep you awake.

Anywho...

The instructions for this breathing pattern can be confusing, espeically if you don't have a small knowledge of anatomy. Specifically, you need to know that there is a set of abs that most people are not aware of or just plain neglect because they can't see them. Can you blame them? After all, we live in a culture that is based on a culture that prized aesthics over many things, namely the ancient greeks. The abdominal development of our predecessors is something to be envied, with the exception of the dragon himself: Bruce Lee.

Anywho, this second set of non-visible ab muscles is responsible for keeping your spine and straight, and helping us exhale air powerfully and explosively.

Now... What does these secret ab muscle have to do with the breath of fire?

Well...

After having done it wrong for quite sometime, and having now a basic knowledge of anatomy, I can perform the exercise properly and reap the benefits thereof.

You may be wondering: what changed for me?

Well, I switched my focus, for one. Instead of focusing on pulling in my abdominal muscles to produce the powerful, rapid exhalations necessary... I switched my focus to exhaling powerful.

Now... These may seem like the same thing, but if you looka t those two statements again, you'll see that they are totally different.

What's the difference?

Focus!!!

a break from work doesnt mean a break from staying in shape...

Being a personal trainer, I have first hand experience with the healing benefits of regular moderate exercise. All you need is 20 minutes a day of steady activity to stay in shape and stay lean.

I'm not a fanatic buy any means, but...

I take working out very seriously. I treat each training session as a chance to uncover my weak points and train them to be my strongest assets.

Anyway....

I was out partying with my nephew and nieces and I asked my nephew if he was going to work out tomorrow(today). His answer:

"I'm on vacation.. I'm not doing nothin!!!"

Don't you know how hard I wanted to slap his big shiny earring out of his ear?!!?!?

I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Why the hell would anyone want to take a break from exercising?

Regular exercisers know how good it feels to work out. You know how good you feel after breaking a mild sweat.

Did you know that your skin is the biggest organ on your body.

Did you know that most of the toxins that we eliminate are expelled through the pores of our skin?

When you look at those two benefits of exercise, it does make sense to me that a person would take a break from their program.

Of course, if you are sick or you have an injury, then of course, take a break and reduce your activity level. You don't have to stop completely.

Did you know that ancient greek doctors prescribed light exercise as a form of "medicine"?

Can you say... Tangent?!?!?

Anyway..

You can still maintain your physique with moderate exercise, no matter where you vacation.

All you need are:
1) Resistance, which can be provided with your own bodyweight.
2) A flight stairs or a city block, so you can go for a power walk or jog( sprinting is best for increase oxygen uptake).
3) Room so you can stretch all your muscles after your workout.

And..viola!!

You have a complete workout in 15 minutes or less!! While you're on vacation!!

BOOM!!!
